   About Us

Unitarian House is a vibrant community for seniors offering security, freedom, opportunity for personal fulfillment and comfort in a beautiful setting overlooking the Ottawa River Parkway.

Established in 1984, Unitarian House of Ottawa is a not-for-profit, non-denominational residence for independent living.  More than bricks and mortar, we are a community of active residents and dedicated staff.

Unitarian House creates opportunities to retain old friends and to make new ones and to enjoy previous interests and to participate in new activities.

Unitarian House is a friendly, caring community for active seniors who wish to continue enjoying their individual lifestyles.

Accommodation:  choose between 1 and 2 bedroom Independent Living Units with access to laundry rooms, dining room and Home Care services. 

or

Retirement Living Bed/Sitting rooms and 2-room suites that include all meals, personal laundry done weekly, housekeeping and an RN on duty 24/7.

Our Mission

The mission of Unitarian House of Ottawa is to continue to provide a not-for-profit residence for seniors where, in a secure and caring environment, residents will have maximum independence, opportunities for personal fulfillment, companionship and participation in a dynamic, collaborative community of residents, staff and management.
