Your Application

This applies to ONLY those applying for Retirement Living Suites and those needing Handicapped Accommodation or Rent Geared to Income (RGI) assistance. In all other cases, our waiting lists for regular One Bedroom and Two Bedroom apartments are currently CLOSED due to the large number of applications we have received for each of these types of accommodation.

However, if you are applying for an Retirement Living Suite, Rent Geared to Income (RGI) assistance or Handicapped accommodation and you think you will be interested in moving to Unitarian House soon, or even sometime in the future, you should consider making an application now.  Seniority on the waiting list is an important factor considered when assigning bed-sitting rooms and apartments to new residents.

Completing the electronic application form will ensure your name(s) are added to our waiting list NOW.  Should you elect to be on the Active list and accommodation suited to your needs becomes available, you will be asked to complete additional documentation prior to moving in.

You may change your status from the Inactive List to the Active List simply by making a phone call to the Administrative Assistant at Unitarian House. (613-722-6690)

There is a small annual fee of $15.00 to maintain your application on file.  This is to ensure that our lists are always up to date. After your initial application, you will be notified each year when this fee is due.
