Current Rates

As a Not-for-Profit Institution, our Independent Living Unit rental rates are governed by the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation. The latter Corporation provides subsides for a number of Rent-Geared-To-Income (RGI) units that can be allocated in accordance with approved criteria.

Independent Living Units are electrically heated. The installation and maintenance of air conditioning units is a tenant responsibility, as is the cost of hydro based on individual apartment meter readings.

Effective 1 June 2011, our monthly rents are currently set as follows:

Bed-Sitting (Retirement Living) unit rentals are set at competitive market rates and include all meals, personal laundry done weekly, housekeeping, and registered nurse availability 24 hours/day. These are:

Parking: lighted outdoor parking is available and includes individual plug-ins. The rental is $30.00 per month.
